I've been upgrading my home cable car and have recently come across the PLC logic ladder code. This uses an Allan Bradley logix 1000 and has about 10 subroutines with some having as many as 7 or 8 rungs. There is an explanation at the beginning of the PDF which details the working at a higher level. This describes how the cable car is built and should operate. Hi I have been tasked to connect an Okuma Multus B400II CNC with an Omron TM12 robot for machine tending as a trial project before my company buys the robot. How do I start? We threw out a defective PLC recently. Is there a simple and straightforward way to use a raspberry pi or Arduino to make them talk to each other? The robot would be placing stuff in the chuck and withdrawing to allow the CNC to do some milling operations.
