Resumen del concurso

Create a 5-Minute Video Using My Footage

I have a folder of raw clips "ready to go". I need them shaped into a single, polished video that runs about five minutes. This edit is strictly personal, it should feel fun, energetic, and light-hearted from start to finish.

Purpose:

- This video should capture the highlights of a 4-day trip to London.
- I will provide approximately 115 short videos and images.
- Weave the story together with smooth cuts, playful transitions, and subtle motion graphics where they help the rhythm
- The video is strictly for private use and will not be published online or on social media.

Video Specifications:

- Final video must be in portrait orientation.
- Include the song “Stay Another Day” by East 17 as the background track.
- Add a title page at the beginning and an end page at the conclusion.
- Insert tags/labels and footnotes on selected clips, each accompanied by a subtle sound effect when the label appears.
- For certain images, add a moving anchor/indicator to point out specific buildings or points of interest. The anchor should track with the motion in the clip.
- Add subtle movement or effect to standstill pictures.

Footage Details:

- All footage will be delivered via Google Drive. The set includes roughly 125 videos and images.
- The sequence must be assembled in the correct narrative/chronological order, which is not always the order of recording.
- Trim any irrelevant or unintended segments from each clip, such as dead time at the beginning or end (e.g., camera shake, someone walking into frame, etc.).

Contest Participation Requirements:

- Submit a 20-second demo to showcase your editing approach.
- Include a few sample labels/tags with subtle sound, so I can evaluate your style.
- Please ensure the demo reflects your ability to follow the instructions above and demonstrates the visual quality and storytelling style you would apply to the full 3-minute video.

Additional info about the Style:

- use solid location labels, similar to this one:
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR-DRH5BjjbhsxRaKF4oHY6_94if9Y71tbwvw&s

- for anchors, use a similar style, like this:
https://assets.mixkit.co/video-templates/176/thumbnails/preview-0015.jpg

- no need to link the video to the actual location, just the label is fine

- for text and label colors, use only the following colors:
- white
- red (from the UK flag)
- blue (from the UK flag)

- font style: use Sans type font

-------

Additional Editing Guidelines

- Apply a single, consistent style for location labels and a separate, single style for information labels. Do not introduce variations within each category.

- Restrict all label colors to those found in the UK flag only. No additional colors are permitted.
e.g.
- Location labels can use white and blue
- Information labels would use white and red

- Do not use bold text in any labels.

- By preference, labels have slightly rounded corners. Avoid sharp or heavily stylized edges.

- Labels must remain on screen for as long as possible to ensure readability. Minimize animation duration. Prioritize longer static display time for the text itself over animated entrances or exits.

- Keep all page and scene transitions simple and unobtrusive. Do not use complex, flashy, or over-decorative transition effects.

I'm working on the project, so avoid making quick decisions. Custom designs take time; I'll submit my work soon. Also, be cautious about submitting AI-made videos.
