Resumen del concurso

I need a logo for a company that rents heavy machinery for mining (excavator with hidraulic hammers, road rollers, mostly caterpillar), I need something elegant, original, authentic that inspires trust, punctuality, respect and security. The company is from Peru and its name is incamaq. Inca for the Incan empire and maq for ¨maquinaria¨ (machinery). an original slogan would be fantastic. the logo will be used in the webpage and personal business cards.

I was thinking about the letters lets divide the name in 2 parts, “Inca” and “maq”, since Inca refers the Incan empire, and they use a lot of rocks to build their cities, let’s make the “Inca” part of rocks or Incan walls, they also used to make very beautiful golden pieces and this new particular company when begins to work should be hired in order to find copper or gold in mines, so a little pieces of those metals in the “Inca” letters would be nice . Well I like the idea of an excavator with the hammer, and the actual excavators of this company would be the 320D or 336D caterpillar models. And let’s make the hammer of another color different from the excavator. Now for the "maq" letters well technology and engineering must be in them so let’s make this letters robot like, or engine like, or engineers working on the "maq" letters or the letters working on themselves, and the excavator working on de "Inca" letters with rocks being destroyed and stuff, that’s partially what I have in mind. Thank you very much guys (The name still remains as incamaq and not inca maq).

Necesito un logotipo para una empresa que alquila maquinaria pesada para minería (excavadoras con martillos hidráulicos, rodillos, retroexcavadoras,etc, de marca predominante caterpillar) deseo algo elegante, original, autentico, que inspire confianza, puntualidad, respeto y seguridad. La empresa es de Perú y tiene por nombre Incamaq, Inca de los Incas peruanos y maq de maquinaria. Un eslogan novedoso seria fantástico. el logotipo será usado para la pagina web y para tarjetas de presentación personal

after showing all of your logos to my colleagues friends and family most of them agree that the winner should be #43, and I have to go with the one that people like, Personally I like#43 #38 #41 and #21 . Unfortunately some other logos I liked where stolen from other companies, that´s sad, so before I award the price, I want to be sure #43 isn`t an stolen idea. So I’m searching the web for something similar. If not, I´ll certainly award the price to you nuwangrafix. Thank you all for you great Ideas!

  image that you indicate have 200x300 pixels. Mine image have 1000x1000 pixels. Even it looks like mine, I do not copy from that site. You draw yopurself your excavator? NO! It is copied from http://www.catmodels.com/products/55262-%252d-CAT-320D-L-Excavator-with-Metal-Tracks.html, a caterpillar machine. Same shape, but other color and no company logo. That' s right?
