I need to re-design the user interface of an online photo/video converter. There's lots to do, but in this contest I am asking you to solve one task. This will allow me to see if you understand the problem and can find a solution. The winner is guaranteed to receive the prize and also could be hired for entire project if I like the solution.

The task: user has images in 360-degree format (google "360-degree equirectangular image"). In a special viewer this kind of images can be rotated and viewed from different angles and with different zoom levels. Not all sites support these images, so the user wants to convert one or multiple images into a video where the view is moving between the points on the image (to share with a customer, for example). Resulting video for a single image would look similar to this:

Your task is to create UI to allow user to:
- specify 2 or more points on the original image;
- for each point user needs to set vertical and horizontal angles, field of view angle (zoom level). Horizontal angle is from -180 to 180; vertical is from -90 to 90 and the field of view angle is from 10 to 170 degrees;
- for each point to specify how many seconds it should take to move from one point to another and how many seconds to stay on each point;
- if there are multiple images user should be able to set the transition type and speed between the image (how one image turns into another, for example, fade-in for 3 seconds);
- move forward and backward through the future animation timeline (think iMovie kind of timeline but I am open to whatever);
- set the background music audio (upload or choose from library);

Got me hooked the moment i saw the listing.
My approach is to emphasize scenes (SC), a (SC) contains multiple POIs and KVPs. Transition happens in-between (SC)s. But, is there a need to group a set of (SC)s together ?

(SC) consists a geographical area with constraints, For Ex, Interior and exterior components of a conveyance product seems to be as a group instead of individual (SC)s. This all depends on the actual product's use-case.

A timeline can be applied within a (SC), beyond a (SC) a timeline might introduce additional levels of complexity if the final product always isn't a video. If it is, it makes all the sense. But wouldn't it confuse the user if they want to use this viewer in the browser ?

I might be completely off here,
But the real challenge i always seek is to hide the complexity of a process to bare-bone minimums.
I would love to confirm your view on the timeline.

CLARIFICATION. The POIs (points of interest) that you see on the sample video (like the balcony or the playground) are just labels to highlight something on the image. They don't have to match the key viewpoints (that the user adds to transition between). There can be zero POIs but multiple key viewpoints or just 2 viewpoints to make video rotate horizontally and multiple POIs to highlight various elements. If you want to show how to add POIs in your interface its fine, but not required. Showing how to add key viewpoints and transitions between them is most important.

  I didn't see this problem in my previous contests. It's not so easy to copy this complex work and if someone actually does that they either eventually get banned or get their own original ideas in process which is good for contest holder. If you want you can make your own entry sealed but I would rather keep all works open.
