possibility of immortal life in the future. For this essay, you will imagine that scientists have discovered a way to make you immortal, and it is now the year 2175. What is your life like? What jobs have you had? What relationships have you had? Who have you married? What is your family like? What have been the advantages of living so long? What have been the disadvantages?

You are going to write a descriptive essay about the positive and negative aspects of your life in 2175. Your essay must include an introduction paragraph, at least 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph. Use the vocabulary and grammar from Unit 5 of your NorthStar 4 textbook. Your essay should be 2-3 pages with vivid details and descriptions

Your essay, then, should consist of the following:

1. Introductory paragraph with a hook, connecting information/background information, and a thesis.
2. Body paragraphs (at least 3 body paragraphs, each with a topic sentence, supporting sentences related to the topic, and a concluding sentence/transitional sentence. Each body paragraph should provide plenty of details and examples about the positive and negative aspects of your life now in 2175).
3. Conclusion paragraph that summarizes what your life is like, and perhaps offers a suggestion, opinion, or prediction about the future.
Your essay should be typed, 12 point font, double-spaced in Times New Roman font. On the back of this page is the writing rubric that shows you exactly how I will grade your paper. Read it!
