I live in the City of Hoover Alabama. http://www.hooveral.org/ It is a family oriented, conservative and diverse community. It is an affluent suburb with good public schools, low crime, lots of families and youth sports are huge.

We have created an online forum for Hoover residents to discuss anything and everything about our community.

This website banner and logo is a cool expression of community talk free from censorship and big tech data mining that we would like to use to brand the website to the community.

I like uniqueness, something that looks great and is very detail-oriented.

The name of the website is: Hoover Talk.

Thank you all! There were some amazing designs submitted. There were so many entries that I ended up just rejecting those that were not in the lead.

Sometimes people submitted 4 or 5 of the same entries with different backgrounds. For purposes of reducing the number, I kept the one that I liked and rejected the rest to help me focus on the number to consider and reduce the number of designs.

Also, some I rated that I liked and had potential, were no longer considered after some newer entries were done.

Hopefully, that helps explain better why I did what I did. Ultimately, the winner, captured what the website would be doing best - families communicating with others in a family oriented setting.
