     1. If solvers wish to receive feedback on their solutions, they may send an email to the Challenge Team who will consider their request.
     2. All decisions made by the judges are final and cannot be appealed.
     3. The winners will be notified of their win. On December 1st the Challenge Team will share an official announcement of the winners here and on a Reclamation press release.

We have made an updated to the timeline on the Challenge Rules and the winners of Phase 1 will be announced on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 (originally November 18) and the launch of Phase 2 will also be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 (originally November 18) .

  Hello! For the Phase 1 White Paper, the Challenge Rules document says the submission must include the "Completed Prototype Status Update spreadsheet." I can't find anything about this spreadsheet. Maybe I'm missing something, but I assume a project plan would be more suitable at this stage?

  Hi, does adding a team member on the website provide legal support or similar benefits for the team member(s)? I want to outsource the tasks in the project to some employees, I do not want to add them as team members. I mean I have the idea, then I want to outsource the tasks to several engineers and not join them to the team, Is it ok? If the team leader submits the forms and gets the prize, what is the advantage of adding team members to the website?

     The composition of your team is up to you. As the Team Lead, you are authorized to interact with the Challenge Team and responsible for meeting all entry, evaluation, and administrative requirements of the challenge. If participating as a team, all payments will be made to the Team Lead who is solely responsible for the distribution of funds among team members. All team members must be at least 18 years old and must be eligible to receive payment under the laws of the United States.

  For example what is the maximum expected precipitation that the device should be functional at (Snow/rain falls per hour)?

  Few questions:
  
  - It is mentioned 2 100 AH battery. Does it mean 2 pieces of 100 AH battery? In that case what is the battery voltage, 12 V? These batteries will be powering only precipitation measurement device or also other equipment's (telecommunication etc) present at site? If others also using the same battery, how much power do they consume?
  
  - Will it be possible to get the list of manufacturer and model numbers of existing devices that are currently being used?

     Hello Mohammad, here is the answer to your question:
     
     The system will be two 12V 100 AH batteries connected in parallel essentially creating one 12V 200 AH battery system. For the purpose of this prize competition the stated battery requirement can be considered to be powering the precipitation measurement device and data logger alone.
