LawGroup in Los Angeles CA USA needs a new website. Spanish/English
The law firm has strong ties to the Hispanic community. Former politician and City District Attorney.
This is not a static website, the platform you use when creating the site, is important, SEO is key, and how easy we can update as well.
This will be a very busy site. We will be updating weekly, posting press releases, court orders, articles, and more... It will also have a resource page for links and forms, a education or learning page, a self help help page for forms and briefings,

Create a new website that will have a structure designed to integrate the different evolution of needs for the law group and clients alike.
Also analyzing legal websites rankings based on traffic and referrals.
Some general ideas are:
A) A communication section which includes news, bulletins, statistics provided by regulators, courts, government, news organizations, and our own. The
content is selected for the purpose of educating and informing what is happening, what we are doing and how we contribute to the solution. This is the most active section where LawGroup's P.R., press releases will be published, as well as court cases, news editorials, reviews, clients testimonials and more.
B) LawGroup's presentation section will introduce The Team, Resume, bios, contact, and personal experience of each member.
C) An Advertisement and Promotions section. Heavily linked and integrated with the media and communication for the purpose of lead generation, consultation, could include Q&A, Video vault, commercials, presentations and more.
D) A Self Help section which will provide many legal forms, free eBooks that explain services, or provide general information. List of Docs needed for the
Intake as well as most needed for others.
E) Draft the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Disclosures, Partner and Providers Acknowledgements. Resources, Useful Links, and other general Info

Please!!! Add in the comments with your design, what customization will you do If awarded. And what features are included. I hope nobody is thinking to win $640 for a template, no matter how pretty or exclusive. We all know what templates go for and many of them include lots of programming...

It is so refreshing to hear some educated, honest, common sense questions about what the project requires.
It is a shared Linux server. WordPress, PHP, and MySQL are all included, among others if needed.
Some of the best designs I have seen are WP, and the amount of plugins available seem to make it the easiest and least expensive to put together time wise, for someone who understands it all.

You got it!! What matters is the final result! Functionality not only looks.
I can also DL a template with a killer design that very few could do, tons of features, and plugins included for under a $100.

I hear you guys! As designers who work hard I understand how it bothers to compete with a copy and paste. your right and I agree it is unfair. But you should also go around the counter and see it from a business perspective. My bosses who I work for, and pay my salary care to get the best they can for as less as possible. If this was a University contest they would be disqualified. But in the commercial world, the best legal licensed design with proper customization, has a better chance. Last word is who ever pays for it.

I feel your pain and I understand.
I have to present each entry in a meeting, everything will be discussed. However the people making the decision, have to choose what is best for the company.
Because it is a law firm, it is a local company, so they would not mind if someone in a different place uses a similar template,
No one could have customized it to the firm because it remains confidential and will only be revealed to the winner in order to adapt what is in the present site.
