Hello talented designers. We have a customer looking to have a logo made for their business, Ben's Bagels. It is a food company that makes bagels and they are going through a re-branding. We would like to see some imagery, not just text. The logo must be in vector format when supplying the finished source files. We like to see unique entries (just the logo only on etries, do not put on backgrounds like storefronts or stationery.) Taking someones work and changing the font or a colour in not considered an entry and will be deleted. We are a 25 year established print shop so we are looking for experienced designers only. We want the best of your talents. All artwork must be 100% your own. Do not copy other peoples work. We will be checking entries for copying artwork.       We have enough of the logos withg the bagel and the chef hat. I would say try to make it look different. Like a sign. My customer was just in to see some of the ewntries and he likes the sign like versions. They are looking for a soft font, nothing too swirly or scripty. the don't like the wheat sheafs. I am just giving you some extra helpful information. Cheers

    An important thing about the customer after I showed hum some of the samples. Typeography is very important elemtn of this logo. I rate the designs but sometimes people think a high rating is for the style of font. but not necessarily. The customewr prefers something soft but not to scripty and difficult to read.

      Hi Nadia. It was a little busy with the company name and the acronym, plus the wheaf sheafs and bagel. There are just too many elemensts for the customer to focus on. Feel free to try again.

    I think we have enough samples ofd the bagels in chef hats now. I am looking for different entries now. Some unique creativity. To many people are copying each other. You will get rated higher now if yo come up with something different than all the submisions. Thank you for your efforts.

      Actually I have over 220 entries in the first few hours. Many are absolutely great artwork. Sorry the pay is not up to your standards. I own 2 print companies and am always too busy to design. I have been doing high end graphic design sinbce before you were born. I appreciate hard working artists and I never forgot where I started. Best of luck to you.

    Ok I think we have enough bagels in Chef Hats. I need to se something differnt. Everyone is startying to copy each other and I find I am rejecting too much because i am seeing the same thing over and over. Looking for some great creativity. Streetch yur boundaries and imagination.

      The customer did not care for it. It was too plain and generic. The font was to scripty and hard to read.

    i think maybe I need to talk to everyone about typography. The fionts i am seeing are good but too swirly or fancy which makes it hard o read. I like a soft font but easy to rread. Maybe artistic but a thicker font. i see too many script fonts. the customer does not want this.

      Hi Abul. I am actgually going back and checking some file for copied work. UInfortunately some of the best entries are copied work so I cannot use them. if you=r original artwork did not get rated, it needed tio be inmproved. Allican say is to keep treying. I am looking for original work, refined. I am not looking for shrotcuts. i need reall uquality graphic desing. i have 4 artists at my print shop but they are all busy. I need to have work that is comparable to their work. Keep treying. Don't get discouraged. Give me you best efforts and you;ll get rated

    We don't want toi see one color minimalist logos. We want to see 2-4 colors. Playful, animated maybe. Bagels are a fun pastry. They do not have icing or chocolate on the outside. they are like a golden brown donut with no topping.

    I am looking for real graphic design. I am a professional designer who owns a busy print shop. I will not consider quick shortcuts or clipart. I am looking for a unique imaginitive talented artist who will put in the extra effort to make this logo fantastic. Do not send the same entry twice ibn different configurations.     i would like the font to be easy to read. I prefer the font to be sans serif. I like the idea of including a bagel, perhaps animated or together as part of an old fashioned sign. Looking for amazing ideas. I am fusswy because I am a designer, so clipart or generic weork will be rejected immediately. Thank you and good luck.
