Hello everyone,

I am looking for an animated music video in this style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBk3ynRbtsw

I am aware this style takes a lot of work and I am not expecting to get something of this level and for anyone to have to do that many drawings. I am just looking for something in this vein of style and simplicity. Less cartoon and more in this style.

I don't necessarily want the lyrics on screen, I am mostly looking for the animation. I would like the animation to follow closely what my lyrics say.

And this is what is how I would like the lyrics to be interpreted:

The idea that I had was the story of a mum and her young song, a child. The mum is worried about bills, money, but the child is just chasing butterflies and has no worries, and doesn't notice the mum's stress. As the song goes on, the child grows up, and the child notices more and more the mum who is working very hard. At the end, I want the grown up kid to hug the mum.
I'd like the lyrics to be represented as well. So for example when it says: "You lay your lips on my face, loving me, loving me" the mother would be kissing the boy's forehead. It doesn't have to be literal for everything but the more obvious lyrics should be represented in the animation.

the video reference you supplied took the animation for an actual video with a large budget. what you're asking for is actually quite a bit of work.

Hello!! what a nice project I'm going to participate in your contest. but first I want you to answer the following.
Are you looking for something artistic or are you just going after a simple traditional animation?
for being a music video and be an emotional lyrics. Should the video have a poetic touch?
you would like a video with a lot of color or a video that is a more monochrome animation. as drawn in sketch for example.

  Hi Ely, thanks for your interest! I would love something artistic however if there are a lot of colors it has colors I would rather they not be overly bright or eclectic. I'd love it to be very emotional and touching so the colors would need to represent that. I would love the video to be poetic for sure. I am happy to give you free range and to see what sort of ideas you come up with. I would however like to follow the story of mother and son, but how the story plays out is up to you. Looking forward to see your work!
