# Logo Design Contest – Ascend Management We are looking for a clean, modern, professional logo for **Ascend Management**. Our preference is for a **font-driven / wordmark-style logo** rather than a large or overly complicated graphic. The logo should feel established, polished, and professional while still having a modern look. ### Overall Direction We are looking for something that is: * Clean and sleek * Professional * Modern * Minimal * Easy to recognize * Easy to read * Strong enough to stand on its own * Not overly busy or overwhelming We would like designers to focus heavily on the typography and the way the words **Ascend Management** are presented. A subtle design element, custom letter, monogram, line, geometric feature, or abstract element may be incorporated, but it should complement the name rather than overpower it. ### Style We Like Think along the lines of a professional company that could represent: **Management • Marketing • Business Services • Consulting • Investments • Growth** The logo should give the impression of a company that is organized, established, capable, and growing. The word **ASCEND** should generally be the strongest visual element, with **MANAGEMENT** potentially appearing smaller or more understated. ### What We Do NOT Want Please avoid: * Cartoon-style logos * Overly complicated icons * Large generic mountain graphics * Obvious clip-art arrows * Excessive gradients or effects * Overly futuristic fonts * Logos that look like a construction company * Logos that are difficult to read * Designs with too many separate elements An upward or growth concept can be incorporated subtly because of the name **Ascend**, but we do not want the logo to simply be a giant arrow or mountain. ### Colors We are open to designer creativity. We generally prefer professional, sophisticated colors such as: Black, charcoal, dark gray, white, navy, deep blue, silver, or other refined corporate colors. A subtle accent color may also work. The logo should also look good in **solid black and white**. ### Final Logo Requirements The winning design should work well on: * Website * Business cards * Email signatures * Social media * Clothing * Vehicle graphics * Printed advertising * Signs and banners Please provide a version with a transparent background as well as editable/vector source files. ### Most Important **Keep it simple.** We are looking for a logo where someone sees **ASCEND MANAGEMENT** and immediately feels that it is a legitimate, professional, established company. We would rather see an excellent custom font treatment with one subtle design element than an overly complicated logo.
